Hi guys, today I’m following up my recent video with a little post all about how I’m really trying to get fit and healthy recently. As you guys know, I’m finding it very difficult to lose weight whilst I’m breastfeeding Hana because the CRAVINGS are real.
Naturally I’ve put on a bit of weight during pregnancy and the months postpartum and to be honest it’s really getting me down how I’m not able to lose the weight as quickly as I normally can. My bodies changing and I just need to accept it I suppose. So, I’ve given up on ‘dieting’ per say, decided to relax and not let fads and calorie counting RULE my life as much as before. I’m just going to strive to get more active and try and eat healthy all round.
Summer being around the corner is of course a huge motivation, especially seeing as spring weather has already been pretty impressive so far. I’ve also come across an app called ‘Earthmiles‘ that gives me discounts on healthy/sporty things the more I walk, or the more steps I take, cycle etc. It basically works like air miles but instead of flying, walking! The app syncs to a tracker on your phone, I synced mine to the healthkit app that comes on an iphone already and it tracks your steps and exercise. The more I walk the more points I earn to use on epic things.
So far I’ve just been walking Hana in her pram with a bit of exercise here and there, nothing too wild because let’s face it if I jump too high, Iβll only get a boob smack in my face anyway.
